Onderwerp: Xinutop intalleren?

Het lukt me niet helemaal

Uit de manual:
Prerequisities:
- A memory device with Xinutop live installed (source), must be runned at less one time with language choice configured.
- A running Linux box (target), can be powered by an another running Xinutop.
- A root or sudo access (<sudo su> with Xinutop and use <shift+ctrl> to paste in console).

...ik heb twee bootable usb sticks gemaakt waarvan er een als livestick runt.

Operations:
- create a free ext4 partition on your target (gparted). Minimum 2Go + charts.
- name it as you want and put the flag bootable if Xinutop will be the main system.
- exit from gparted and mount this new partition.

...ik heb op /dev/sda een ext4 partitie gemaakt van 111.79GiB. Label is "/"
Er volgde een popup die zei dat de patitie automatisch ge mount was. Inderdaad staat hij er tussen in marinux-File Manager.

De vogende stappen staan hieronder maar ik heb geen idee hoe dat moet:
- initialize paths variables (no "/" at the end of path)
# SOURCE=<mountpoint_of_your_Xinutop_live>
# TARGET=<mountpoint_of_your_new_partition>
- unlock the protected files:
# chattr -Rf -i $SOURCE/boot $SOURCE/sfs
- create a mountpoint for the system squashfs file:
# mkdir /tmp/sfs
- mount the squashfs file:
# mount -t squashfs -o loop $SOURCE/sfs/system.sfs /tmp/sfs
- copy the contents:
# (g)rsync -r -p -o -g -l -D /tmp/sfs/ $TARGET/


het is gelukt; ik heb het anders gedaan:
xinutop-nav-x86-2.0.img op een USB stick copieren

op de computer waar het op moet komen:
run Xinutop van USB-Lifestick
copieer xinutop-nav-x86-2.0.img op van de USBstick naar de Desktop van de LIfestick

run in een terminal:
sudo dd if=/home/marinux/Desktop/xinutop-nav-x86-2.0.img of=/dev/sda

als die klaar is: shutdown, alletwee de USBsticks eruit, reboot(gewoon van interne HD)

we komen er wel

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade doet ook wonderen...
