Hi sailors
I have decided to sail away from mainland, NL toward the Mediterranean.
I am not a sailor, I have spent some substantial time on a Adriatic sea as a kayaker (where I have seen a wind was a nuisance). On July I will start with sailing courses (RYA) to get a grip of the matter, and hopefully to start going south from NL end of August. The idea is to stay over winter either on Canary or Ibiza. I am in process of buying a sailing boat, budget max 10K EUR, have already some favourites. One of the way how I see the trip going is that there is experienced sailor who would like to joint the trip to Spain, during which I would hopefully acquire some relevant knowledge/experience, and have some fun along the way. Some suggestions about choosing appropriate boat are welcome. I wanted to start the journey from Adriatic, but Croatia (where I come from) lacks good lower budget boat offer, seems the same issue with Italia. Please all information regarding the route, potential sailor who might join the trip, choosing a boat taking in consider a budget are more than welcome. Alvast bedankt, Groetjes, Zagy
