I had 2 instances of OpenCPN and ultimately decided to uninstall the regular version and retain the Flatpak version. Then I pointed AvNav to look for opencpn.conf in /home/pi/.var/app/org.opencpn.OpenCPN/config/opencpn/ and that finally did the trick. |

Yesterday (17.02.2024), after several months of work, the first beta version of AvNav-OchartsNG was finally released
All in all, this is a pretty big change to the whole O-Chart handling. That is why it is initially an additional package for the Raspberry that can be installed alongside the previous one. In addition to Android support, there is a whole range of improvements and enhancements. Perhaps of particular interest: You can also use S57 maps (which are freely available for many areas) in AvNav (after a conversion).
