I have just recalculated the date you have sent to me and came to the result, that 15X12-3L would be the most efficient solution for your boat. The size 16X11-3L would take the top of your RPM (ca. 120-150 rpm)
Different propeller brands and types of course provide different blade wide – and thereby difference total blade area, even same diameter. Also the blade profile and other characteristics differs between the different propellers.
For that reason, the right propeller size for a specific boat/engine can easily be slightly different depending on what propeller type and brand being calculated.
We did calculate the diameter and pitch of your propeller based on the information’s of the engine and the sailboat you did supply, and our recommendation is custom made for a Flexofold.

After reading our old mail correspondence from 2018, I made a new calculation and came to the result, that the correct 3-blade Flexofold propeller for your MD2030 is a 16X11-3L.
Unfortunately I have used data of the new VP 28 HP instead of the old one. I am very sorry about that!
Uiteindelijk dus de 16x11 besteld en gemonteerd. Na 4 seizoenen nog steeds zeer tevreden.
