1. It's a theoretical system without any experience.
The CATCH and LIFT Rescue System was tested many times by us, by YACHT, ZILT magazine and (another system, but same method) from military units.

2. Boat speed is hard to handle / regulating the speed not easy.
In general, you can handle the boat speed pretty good. You can maneuver it in a small pitch at a harbour.
Of course it's harder at bad weather conditions, but a regulated forward-speed is not that hard.
2.1. Inertia of the boat is making the handing even harder.
The inertia is only relevant at the lifting (not at the return-process).
The CATCH and LIFT Rescue System is designed for absorbing the jerky movements.
This is a result of flexible materials and special processing.
2.2 The MOB could get submerged by water.
It's possible, but easy to prevent.

3. The rope tangles up.
The pulley is including rope cleats. Once you have tractive, the rope stays taut. No possibility for tangling up
3.1 The rope will get into the boat screw.
It's a floating rope, it will not sink under water.
We have tried to provoke this cases, but it was not possible for us.
4. Rescue in a supine position.
It's not possible, but not that important, too.
The rescue system is working pretty fast, so the risk of hypothermia is very small.

4.1 Rescue of an unconscious person is not possible.
It is harder to use, but it's possible, too.

4.2 The MOB could get to the boat screw.
It's always possible to maneuver the boat, so you can control the position of MOB against the boat.
5. The system can be used in a wrong order.
Not really. The CATCH and LIFT Rescue System is built very simple.
When the case gets opened, you can only see one part (marked with a "1"): the pulley.
You don't reach number 3 (sea anchor) before you have removed step 1 and step 2.
5.1 Where to store the system.
There is a possibility for fixing the system with our C&L railing mount
The case can be removed from this mount within one second and you can open it at a secure position (e.g. beside the wheel).
www.catchandlift.me/index.php/...ucts-railing-mount-2
6. You need 2 fixing points (portpoint and starboard) because you don't know where the MOB will be.
Thats not right, you can decide how to circuit the MOB.
The most of our customers buy only 1 C&L wire clamp.
It's possible to hook in the C&L pulley at the boom head, too.
www.catchandlift.me/index.php/...-wire-clamp-6-12mm-2
7. The person on bord gets in danger while hooking in the pulley.
It's important, especially when you are alone at the boat, to secure yourself with a life sling.
If you use the boom head to hook in the C&L pulley, you don't have to leave the cockpit at any time.

8. It's not shown, how the MOB gets saved at the boat.
The MOB will get saved with a life sling, too. Afterwards, the CATCH and LIFT Rescue System can be resolved.
Please note our "Een zorg minder" regeling.

9. There are only videos at perfect weather.
Thats right, there are no videos of bad weather conditions, yet.
The reason is that no MOB rescue is 100% sure.
We can not risk the life of a person for a dramatic video.
10. You can not repack the system yourself.
Yes, you can. You have to:
- clean the system
- dry the system
- repack the system (you need a C&L repacking bag for the sea anchor 9,00 EUR)
Our Check & Repack is an optional offer.
Dit ziet er uit als gedegen antwoorden.
Ben nog in overweging.
